What's walkable: Union Station, Larimer Square, the 16th Street pedestrian corridor, Commons Park and Confluence Park on the South Platte River.

Transit

Denver Union Station is the region's transit hub: the A Line commuter train to Denver International Airport, the B and G Lines, the W Line light rail to Lakewood and Golden, and RTD buses including the Flatiron Flyer to Boulder.

What it's like

Lower Downtown is Denver's historic warehouse district, now mostly lofts and newer condo towers. Restored brick buildings line the streets around Union Station and Larimer Square, and the South Platte River parks are a short walk away. Expect city noise on game nights.
