Hi, I'm Joshua Zelcer, a REALTOR® with Brokers Guild Real Estate. I see the same question in the Colorado moving groups all the time: we're moving here, one of us works in Golden (or downtown Denver, or Colorado Springs), we want somewhere walkable and local, so where should we look?
The honest answer depends on a few things, so I put this guide together. Answer four quick questions and you'll get three places to start with, and why. Every town has its own page with walkability, drive times, transit, prices and the streets worth knowing. Nothing you choose here is collected or saved.
